Has MS had a negative effect on your relationship?
I was diagnosed in April of ‘25 and my husband of almost 8 years, in a committed relationship together for nearly 16. Completely lost his mind, he became suicidal, started using drugsxx vs and I stayed bc I saw it as a sickness and I took my vows very seriously. At the end of his last drug binge he made the comment that we are toxic together, he wants to walk away from the marriage, go th rehab and try to be friends. I feel so abandoned and I cannot even imagine how to go about dating someone else after being with the same man for 16 years,
😢 that’s heartbreaking It was your diagnosis that sent him off the rails? What about it caused such a severe reaction? Maybe you two can come back together when he is in a better place and work out how to support each other through all of this… It’s important that he gets himself to rehab, and works out how to not be a danger to himself. This must be incredibly difficult for you 😔
