Clarification

Hi, I’m new here it’s great to see how supportive everyone is. I was initially diagnosed why RRMS years ago but i guess I also have secondary progressive. So does that mean I have both? Or did it mutate to become SPMS? If anyone else here has this experience can you please help me understand. Thank you in advance!

I think it evolves like a Pokémon from the rr to sp but I’m not exactly sure how it all goes. Is a confusing evil bitch this ms monster

It's classed as SSMS when the symptoms no longer go away so you don't recover to the level you were at before a relapse. It's not unusual for it to progress from RRMS to SSMS - it happened to me. Hope this helps
