Not new to MS but have some wisdom on how to deal with this mess..
After a couple of years of doctors and tests to determine why I was having unusual symptoms and being called a hypochondriac or a drug seeker, a 150 year old country doctor was able to send me to the best MS specialist in Dallas Texas where after many painful tests determined I had this mess. This was in 2005z At the time, the only symptoms I was experiencing was constant pain and staggering when I was tired, I opted not to disclose this to my employer. I masked my symptoms until 2023 when after a meeting at the end of the day, a higher up saw me misstep and confronted me with drinking on the job. When I told them the scoop, they placed me on indefinite medical leave. I was able to retire with a full pension. Today, I still deal with the pain, mind fog, and the uneven gait when tired. I have had other weird things happen that came and went.
