I was off work for 7 months on long term disability. The company I work for only covers 6 months long term sickness, after that time it has to go through their insurance. They have stated the below as their reasoning for denying the claim. The medical evidence indicates that there has been no relapse, flare, or progression of symptoms since the initial episode in September 2025. There are no documented ongoing or residual neurological deficits, complications, or treatment-related issues that would prevent the employee from carrying out the material and substantial duties of her insured occupation. I have had flare ups since then and I am going to appeal the decision. I was wondering if anyone had any advice?
