Anniversary
Approaching my first symptom anniversary date at the end of this month.
I spent 5 years in NC before moving to Georgia for 1 yr.
Optic neuritis took my left eye out the game, I was forced to move from my new place in a new state (GA) being that I lost my vision and didn’t know what was going on with me. Relocated back to my parents house (NJ) for 9 months. Got diagnosed with MS there. Finally I’m back in my own place (NC)
Anxious that I’m approaching this full yr since my first symptom. I’ve had a bad yr.
I didn’t enjoy my bday last yr (Aug 2nd) being that I was losing my vision, my vision on my bday last yr was going dim. I was admitted to the hospital for a week about a week later. Sorta scared but I’m trying not to think about it. I just want this to be over with.
My symptom anniversary was the 1st of July, I lost all sensation in my lower legs and feet. It's crazy when I think back to how I was a year ago. It has been a rollercoaster year being told it could be, then it isn't, then 3 more relapses before being told it definitely is! Thought I would feel better after the diagnosis but anxiety is still high. Don't have any advice, just going through it with you I guess.
