Good question Scott… I did not realize it at the time but ms was changing my brain and my personality. I was undiagnosed, depressed, uninterested in pretty much everything. I was later diagnosed and informed this is a documented possible side effect. I learned I was just a statistic. Quick summary of three decades. Since learning about it and caring enough, I made an effort to reach back out to old good friends and rekindle even if online. It made a difference. As for making new friends, well… some friendships are overrated. Lots of aquaintances, few friends. You are not alone. It’s documented. It happens. Hope this helps.
You get to know, who are your true friends when you have this. The ones who don’t stick by you are not worth worrying about.
