Pain Pump? Vertigo?

I met with my pain specialist and for now she prescribed me some more oxycodone and baclofen to see if that helps, but she’s also referring me to another doctor because she thinks I’ll need a pain pump surgically implanted in my back. And she thinks we will also do steroid injections in my neck and spine. Has anyone here ever gotten a pain pump and did it help them? I know it’s a minor procedure, but it still freaks me out, but at the same time my pain in unbearable most of the day. Also, I think I’ve been having really bad vertigo. I’m super dizzy, more than I usually am. I’ll almost feel like is this real life? If that even makes sense. I’ll start to get severe panic attacks when I feel this way and my body becomes so weak. Any experiences or advice is very much appreciated. Thank you!

@mlgilber1 , a Baclofen Pump isn't a regular procedure in the UK, but we have details, which might help you:- https://www.mstrust.org.uk/a-z/intrathecal-baclofen Your present range of medication can give you a feeling of being "spaced out". Hopefully, the Baclofen Pump will help that by targeting the medication exactly where it's needed. Hope this helps.
