Hair falling out

Has anyone else dealt with hair falling out or hair loss? I’ve been dealing with MS symptoms for a little over a year and have noticed that my hair falls out much more than it used to. If I run my hand through it I might come away with five or six hairs. I’ve noticed I tend to lose eyelashes and brow hair more frequently as well. It’s not yet visible or patchy but I’m a bit worried. Anyone else had this experience?

Yes @isa_elfers same feels on this front.
Thank goodness I have enough hair to spare. Iā€™m now 43 years young and what can u really expect. I was told by a good friend to cut my hair and remove my man bun. Haha
Stay safe buds

49 in a few days and I prefer to think of my hair loss as age not MS related

@isa_elfers , there are quite a few previous posts about hair loss. This is caused in the main by Disease Modifying Therapies (DMTs) and is usually a short-lived side-effect.

I appreciate that you’re not on a DMT, there may be some useful information contained therein. Use the Forum Search (magnifying glass, top left) and enter the term, “hair loss”, to locate these items.

Yes I lost a lot of hair. I thought it was a side effect of DMTs but the nurse said it was just because I had suffered a trauma.
