A good Dr that knows what's up! My 1st dr did a lumbar puncture and still couldn't give me a straight answer. Went to the Mayo clinic in MN and right away the dr knew.

The diagnosis came from my consultant after an MRI and my having told him about my 9 years of symptoms, which in hindsight were attributed to MS. Dan

LP is less common now. My MRI was so definitive a LP was not needed. It is for some people. This is the best video I have seen on diagnosis: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0csvVXatlFo&t=9s
