Kesimpta side effects!
Hi All, it’s my first time here. I’ve had MS since 2001 and have been offered a DMT. I think Kesimpta may suit me best but I am terrified of possible side effects. I hate the unknown and whilst I think this medication could be beneficial, I’m just so frightened. Thanks for any advice you can share.
Hey Victoria, I have been on kesimpta for the last year and a bit and can speak more highly for the drug no new activity at all on my latest MRI! Side effects wise id recommend taking it busy before you go to bed so you sleep through any side effects or that's what I do atleast 😊
Welcome Victoria, every DMT will have possible side effects some worse than others but for the most part they are manageable. It's easy to be frightened by the side effects but believe it or not you might not have anything but a headache some Tylenol can take care of. I have been on a few DMTs through the years and the worst side effect I had was fatigue, been on Kesimpta the past year and so far so good. Positive thoughts and good luck! You got this 💪🧡
