Poem by Laura
I want to share an amazing poem written by a very dear freind' Thank you Laura K.
"Seeing the Unseen" by Laura
Beneath the surface, calm and still,
A storm moves silent, sharp, and real.
The world may see a steady face
Not every war leaves its trace.
A body rebels in quiet ways,
With trembling nights and heavy days.
Nerves misfire like whispered lies,
A burning truth behind the eyes.
Fatigue that folds the soul in two,
Limbs that won't do what they're told to do.
The mind, a maze of broken light,
Still rises, fierce, to daily fight.
Some stumble where they used to run,
Yet greet the dark to find the sun.
With grace, they hold the weight of pain
Invisible, but not in vain.
Each portrait tells a warrior's tale:
Not every fight is loud or frail.
Coexisting truths reside
Both strength and struggle, side by side.
See them whole: not just the ache,
But all the joy no flare can take.
The laughs, the art, the dreams unbowed
Resilience never shouted loud.
Let this be more than just a view
Let it move something deep in you.
To speak, to care, to stand and say:
"We see you. We won't look away."
So witness now the strength they've shown,
No one should face this fight alone.
From silent battles, voices rise
For change, for hope, for clearer skies.
This is incredible, and such dignified writing. Thank you for sharing.
Amazing, I love this, very powerful.
