Switching Treatments
Hey guys, I've just had a call with my consultant and he's recommended switching from Tysabri to Ocrevus. I was just wondering how people have found the switching process from one to the other and also how they've found Ocrevus? Any side effects or experiences you guys could share to help me feel more prepared would be so appreciated! Also if anyones done the exact same switch would love to know if you've preferred Ocrevus etc? Thanks so much!
I didn’t switch just last year diagnosed and started ocrevus. I’ve had positive times with it havnt had any side effects. Only downside is it’s a long infusion. Is like 4-6 hrs sitting in the hospital with an iv in your arm so be sure to have something to pass the time. I listen to audio dramas while in mine. They are basically a tv show without the tv. People voice acting rolls and sound effects going on around them. They are on podcast apps on your phone. fool and scholar and 7 lamb productions are 2 of my favorite creators they both have multiple shows to listen to.
I did this switch two years ago. It was fine. They did a quick turn around of 6 weeks and managed the process so well. Not noticed any difference in side effects, no probs with infections.
