I had to have a Lumbar puncture to confirm MS. I went through 10years of feeling no one believed me, that I was just looking for time off work. Even had to wear pressure stockings for 2 yrs, & yeah didn't even help, just made an expense which was unnecessary. Mine is PPMS, the only thing I've been told is that at the moment my condition is stable, so there'res no medication they can provide to help. I have been put on carbamazepine for my tingling, numbness (parathesia) it helps but again causes dizziness. Just carrying on the best I can. Won't be beaten will keep going.
