Frustrated MS diagnosis

So I was originally diagnosed in 2022 however PCP never communicated with me, after much frustration I found a new PCP who suggested MRI in December 2024…. Came back MS. So he sent me to Neurologist who yesterday said not MS even after 3 MRIs with lesions, why because my oligocional bands are negative… I’m so frustrated with these ups and downs with no diagnosis in sight…. I’m 64! Is this normal?

I think it is normal for MS to be very difficult to diagnose in some cases. Try not to dwell on it too much. Ask for a second opinion.

I have seen multiple people on here who have been diagnosed with MS with negative Lumbar Punctures.
