@jman must admit I don't go because they all want to sell to you and when you live on benefits and can't afford to buy anything it is doubly annoying to see something that might help you but can't afford to buy it. Just have to rely on the NHS and their OT's to provide the basics, but hopefully they will get good info from such an event and we might get offered better gadgets etc., in the future.🥊
I do see your point:) We find its a good way to network, and maybe even influence people (we're are on benefits as well, but luckily our friends giving us a lift are also carers/have disabled kids).
