First Infusion Day - What to pack & other tips?
Hi everyone. I have my very first Briumvi infusion soon (then I have the second part a couple of weeks after), and I was wondering what people would recommend I take with me to get me through it. Will I be feeling too drowsy or too out of it to read a book or play on a handheld gaming device or mess around on my phone? Or would I just be feeling like normal but hooked up to a machine? I'm not sure what the set up will be like. Are you left in a room with other people or do you get the privacy of your own cubicle or room? Are you sitting or on a bed or in a chair that you can recline?
I'll be there for 4-5 hours for the first infusion, so are you able to use the toilet while you are connected up? Is it on wheels? I really don't know what to expect and just looking for some advice to make those several hours more tolerable.
Set of ear buds and I f yout into it audio dramas are nice to listen to. Basically a tv show without the tv is voice actors laying rolls and all the background sound effects. 7 lamb productions has a bunch of them so does fool and scholar. If they don’t offer food or drinks take some with ya and dress comfortable
For the bathroom mine just unhook the drip from me and I can go tho think one of the drugs they give reduce the urge to to bc usually I go ever hour and can make it through 4 hr infusions without having to go or only once
