MRI RE REPORTED?

Has anyone else had an MRI “re reported”? I had a scan in October, FINALLY got the results December and great news no change, results were static. Saw consultant in December, pleased with the result. Confirmed another scan for the following year and also annual check up as normal. Fast forward to now, I’ve had a letter for an appointment which has supposedly been requested as the scan has been “re reported”. The neurology receptionist said in her 17 years in the role she has never heard of this… Anyone have any idea or advice please?

This happened to me when I put in a complaint to the NHS before I was diagnosed. Turns out a scan I had 12 years ago was reported as clear. When I put in my complaint they looked over all the scans I had then had to have that scan re-reported as they found 2 lesions on it. But I think in your case it’s different. So basically every month or so a consultant radiologist will take ‘x’ amount of scans and review them all. Sometimes they find things that have been missed. This happens with an X-ray I had once. Got a letter in the post 3 months after the X-ray to say they found out I had an enlarged heart
