And if things keep getting worse to drop down to a 3 day week

@deano This sounds like a pretty fair and reasonable deal. Was this negotiated as part of reasonable adjustment for your role? Where I work, if you go long term sick, there is insurance in place which covers 70% of your salary if you are unable to work. You have to be out for over 6 months though to be able to apply for this and normally the person who is out ill has their position terminated before they get to claiming on the policy. Bad management practice I know, but it does happen in the corporate world.
@Underdog Thanks , Its sad in a way, as I am limited now in my role ( career is over). Yes they have the same policy, but they see me everyday in the office struggle in I guess, and HR came up to me and told me to apply ( I thought it would be rejected) but insurance company agreed. Thanks for your comments. My company are a Germany company and they look after the disabled staff , ( maybe if it was a US company things would be different)
