Its hard to be slapped with a diagnosis of MS. I am not sure what your symptoms are, but if your a little like me its hard for people who arent astute to pick up on the symptoms you experience…. For many its an invisible disease that only you can see. You will likely experience all the stages of grief, which is perfectly normal. My advice would be educate yourself as much as you can as knowledge is power, and something you can control at this time when everything seems out of your control. For me it was a relief to have a reason for my symptoms but very overwhelming and frustrating at the same time. After settling into my diagnosis, things have become somewhat easier in a sense, I have learned to give myself grace, and to read my body and adjust accordingly what my day looks like. After being on DMTs for a bit some of my symptoms eventually improved. And after my recent HSCT I am doing very well. Hang in there. There is hope. Technology in the world of MS treatments has come a long way. Be sure to take care of your mind and body. I hsve learned that mindfulness and fueling myself with healthy eats helps immensely. Also ask your doctor if they recommend any supplements for you. Many MSers are low on vitamin D. Best of luck!
