For those of you in the days before diagnosis did you ever have mild optic neuritis or eye problems
My GP suspects i have Ms
I have a pulling type of pain in one eye alongside blurred vision and peripheral vision loss and dull colours and face pain.
The pain has never been severe but the symptoms are definitely noticeable
Has anyone had mild optic neuritis symptoms please
Yes I had mild ON. I was one of the 20% of patients who have it without pain. The remainder get a stabbing pain behind the eye. It was the symptom that led to my diagnosis.
Yup! Your comment resonates with me.. Optic neuritis was the last symptom for diagnoses. The eye dr couldn’t put a lens over my eye that allowed me to see clearly. Plus my right eye did not track with the left eye..a 5 day iv steroids treatment clear up most of it for me.. have you seen an eye specialist to rule out cataracts? The one thing I learned early on, steroids are great for combating inflammation but it like putting fertilizer on cataracts..
