I'm not sure how 6 years went by
It's been a long time since I posted here but I got a notification about getting fitter and since that's exactly what I'm doing right now I logged in for a read.
After Lemtrada in 2015/16 I've been on Ocrevus for 5 years now, diagnosed for over a decade, I'm also 10 years no new activity on my MRI's so the old noggin nerves being eaten by my immune system is under control.
Because it's MS that doesn't mean things aren't different, my stamina is none existent these days, my walking isn't great and I'm trying to fix that.
I've seen multiple neuro physio's and they've not really helped much but recently I noticed that I wasn't walking heel to toe any more I was walking flat footed and that's why my balance is crap. So now I'm on a self designed walking, cycling, physio routine to learn to walk (properly) again.
I'm still updating the blog if anyone cares, a decade of real time after Lem and Oc and my weird life bumbles on.
Hope everyone is doing the do - whatever works for you
xx
Ditto. My walking is so off-key nowadays. I drag left leg as knee doesn’t flex and I have an odd toe-heel gait with right leg. 🚶🏻♂️
Same here my walking is not like it was before, I’ve had MS for 20 years now
