Lower back pain.

I would advise anyone whether a fellow MS patient or not to check their sleeping position. If you sleep on your side and have your top leg well over your bottom leg your spine is not straight. I would purchase a knee pillow from Amazon to help you sleep straight. OK doesn't completely cure pain particularly MS nerve pain I'm not saying that But it makes a big difference to your spine and Core position. My lower back pain is definitely lessened with a knee pillow, so much so that I have a blow up one for holidays. I swim, do pilates, and weight bearing exercise too.

Good morning everyone yes I have SPMS I too suffer from severe low back pain even though I work out for that specific area. A lot of times that's how I find out that I have a bad UTI. And at times believe it or not I take Advil about four of them to relieve the pain but it only works for a couple of hours.

@Hettie

I’ve had the same/similar. I was told to strengthen my core. Lie on floor or bed , lie flat then whilst feet are flat on floor raise knees raise then push bottom off bed/floor and hold for count of 10. Lower to bottom to ground then repeat again as many times as you can. Hope this helps x
