Pain with MS?
I have been referred to gynaecology for severe pelvic, back and leg pain. The pain comes in suddenly and throughout the month - not correlated with my period but pain is similar to period pain except far more intense. I shake with the pain, my legs feel like they're buzzing when I go into a pain flare. I get nerve pain and cramps. My Dr suggested the pain could be caused by MS because it the nerves get agitated (or something like that). I told him I do not think this is down to MS but I don't know tbh. Opinions please. I need to know if anyone has had similar and if it was MS?
I would think your head on the right path. It could be MS or something else. Go to the doctors you need to such as gynecology to eliminate possibilities. Then if you are left with it is the MS talk with your care team about options to deal with pain management. I hope you find the answers you need.
Thank you. It's a little of a mystery I'm trying to get the pain under control too while I wait. I don't like to direct the attention on MS if there is an alternative and one that may be treatable 🤞
