Down here in Wales, I had to have 3 markers, Lesions in the Brain, Lesions in the spine and oligclonal bands in the CSF, then was finally diagnosed with R&R MS.
Had to wait 18 months before a diagnosis. After dizzy spells, no movement in my right hand, immense tingling/crawling of my scalp I was finally told it was MS. Then i had to force through medication as the wait was a further 10 months. I was not prepared to wait this long for medication while this disease progressed as I was told in a letter. Eventually I was started on Mavenclad last week.
