Americans and health insurance?
Hi, there seems to be a lot of Americans on here - am wondering if your MS dmt is based on what is best for you, or what your insurance will give you? Is there a difference? Do you lose it if you lose your insurance?

I’m on SSDI and I don’t pay any premiums for my insurance, but the Out Of Pocket is what hurts when I get my infusions, it has to be met for the year before I don’t have to nothing, yet it all starts over at the beginning of the year
As criminal as it may sound, there are bureaucrats within some insurance companies who control your health more than your neurologist. Because the system is driven by $$$$ not your health outcome. In my opinion, the insurance companies treat us, the MS patients, like their prostitutes. The humanity, care and compassion was killed many years ago. We, the MS, are the pimps' prize possessions, because we bring big money in their coffers. Same thing with big Pharma and that's the main reason there's no immediate incentive to find a cure.
