Finally
Hey guys, so I’ve finally got the call from Neuro Daycare and I start on Tysabri on the 17th
What should I expect, what are others experiences with this ? :)

lots of sitting :) for your first infusion you might have to do some form filling... then temperature, blood pressure readings, signing a consent form...and that's the interesting bit. Some blood may be taken to check you for jcv (the marker that indicates risk of pml), then the infusion will involve a canula and then an hour of being hooked up to a drip. Once that's done the tysabri drip will be replaced with a flush, which will mean another hour of sitting :) I've heard people report itching around the injection site, and groggyness, but i'f not experienced that (i must be at around the 14 year mark on tysabri now). best of luck - should all be plain sailing :)
Dear @jade_victoria_cantrill, I've been on Tysabri since September, 2017. Touch wood, things have been as good as they can be thus far. It hasn't made my symptoms any better, of course, but thankfully they haven't got any worse (which is all I can ask for!). Good luck, and best wishes, Jon
