Keeping you safe - a holiday update 🧑‍🎄

Hi everyone, We’ve been listening to your feedback about scammers on this app. We always want Shift.ms to be a safe, supportive and accepting environment. With that in mind, we’re making a few updates over the next few weeks to keep the app safe over the holidays while some of our staff are off. - We’ll be turning off the option to message people on the website. This means that from 24th Dec until 5th Jan, you won’t be able to message anyone through the website, you’ll have to use the app on your phone or tablet. This means we only need to moderate app messages and could help to reduce the amount of active scammers. - We’re also limiting how many people you can send messages to in-app. But don’t worry, you can still continue existing conversations. If you are in a match as part of the Buddy Network, you can still message them as much as you like. This is because some people’s inboxes have been filling up with unwanted messages so we’re trying to reduce them without stopping people from communicating. These are temporary solutions to a problem that our team is working tirelessly on behind the scenes. In the new year, we’ll be making updates about what we’re working on to reduce the amount of ingenuine profiles. In the meantime, if you see any posts or messages from people that seem inauthentic, please report using the 3 dots. We’ll have staff dealing with these over the holiday period to make sure accounts are deleted. Thank you for your patience with this issue, we really appreciate all of our genuine community members 💚 Speak soon, El

The app is good. Appreciate deeply the work you have put in. There will always be those people trying to take Advantage. Merry Christmas.
