Baclofen
I started taking baclofen today to help with the spasticity in my leg. Has anyone else taken this drug? What was your verdict on it?

Dave, I was recently prescribed Baclofen when I was suffering a "pseudo-exacerbation", brought on by a UTI. These pseudo-exacerbations do cause me to spasm, hence the script. However, I generally have problems with my legs being tired, heavy and, on occasions, unable to hold my body weight. My neuro-physio advised me against starting Baclofen, as it relaxes muscles, which could make my general leg problems worse! As is usual with these drugs, they can resolve one issue, whilst creating another. Let's hope it works for you.
I was prescribed Baclofen as my legs tend to go completely spastic and they will not move. Unfortunately, it was putting me to sleep, so I ended up switching to tizanidine. I haven't noticed it working as my good days are good, but my bad days are still bad.
