MRI

Hi, I'm still waiting on my MRI results a week and a half later and am getting increasingly anxious about my results. The person running the MRI (can't remember what the job title) is nor the nurse told me next steps and the neurologist didn't tell me what would happen either... Can anyone kindly help me with how long it took you to get your results if you have had your MRI recently and are based in the UK and how you got them, did your neurologist get in touch with you and if so, how? Or did you need to call your GP? Or something else like a letter.. I'm not sure whether to call someone or keep waiting it out.
@Keenan

Hi Cameron I have recently been diagnosed with MS. My GP contacted me within 10 days of having my mri and told me it was likely ms and arranged for my appointment with the neurologist to be speeded up. The neurologist arranged for me to have a lumbar puncture within 1 month and then I had my diagnosis of ms confirmed by the neurologist a few weeks later. I was then referred to neuroinflammatory in Birmingham. I have been waiting for this appointment nearly 5 months and I have just received my appointment via email today for May. I hope this helps.

My Mri results take about 4 to 6 weeks , the info will be sent to you and your dr or they will arrange appointment to give you a diagnosis, radiographer or nurses won't know nothing ,it's a wait now to have your scan read
