Stay on Tecfidera or switch to Vumerity

Had a chat with my MS nurse yesterday (RRMS, 3 years). I get mild flushing with Tec which is a mild inconvenience and uncomfortable for about an hour about 3 x per week, otherwise no side effects. She suggested I switch to Vumerity but having looked up the risks these seem slightly greater ie in the liver department. I'd be interested to hear from anyone who has made the switch as well as anyone on Vumerity.

I am on generic Tecfidera and occasionally get flushing. Once I feel it coming on, I take a low-dose aspirin (81mg), and that does the trick to quell the flushing.

I was on Dimethyl Fumarate (generic for Techidera). It lowered my immune system to a dangerous level to get a disease called PML. My neurologist took me off it immediately! I had taken it for over a year and was sick a lot from this drug. Be sure to get your bloodwork done every few months!!
