MS Medication/DMTS
Hi everyone, I’ve had ms since 2011 , diagnosed when I was 25 , had a few relapses every now and then but nothing to bad , but in 2023 I went for a mri scan as my symptoms had got worse , and I’ve been told that I’ll never be able to walk properly again , I have to use a wheelchair and mobility scooter if i go out, I just wondered if anyone knows of any medicines or dmts that can help me to gain some mobility back … any suggestions/information is appreciated… thank you
I’m so sorry Rikki, that must have been hard to hear. I don’t know if you have tried an FES device? I have an appointment to try one myself in July. I think they have mixed reviews but some people who previously had to use mobility aids say they are able to walk with one. Wishing you all the best.
Hiya … I’ve not heard of FES I don’t think , I’m gonna investigate it and read up on it today … ahh hopefully it works for you when you go in July , if you don’t mind could you keep me updated with it and let me know how you get on with it please?
