Been on holiday, symptoms worse.

Hi I have been on holiday. Temperature was 25 to 30°. I was fine whilst I was out there but I’ve come back and a day later my symptoms have gotten really bad. The whole of my left side is numb and previously that flared up two years ago, it was not as numb as it is now, is there anything I can do about this? I know heat can make your symptoms worse, but it’s not hot here and I wondered why they are still bad. Any advise appreciated, thank you.

You're right, if it was the heat causing the flare up it would have happened while you were there and feeling hot - it could be the tiredness/stress of travelling causing a little increase? Or maybe you picked up something while away - a whole manner of things really! And sometimes it just happens for no apparent reason. If it doesn't go away and as you said it's worse than it has been before it may be worth making a note of it and letting your nurse know x

@Evie_Meldrum yes to this. I wonder too if it’s humid or stormed recently? Barometric pressure drops send my MS into a frenzy. 😮‍💨 Stress from travel and maybe doing a lot that first day made it flare.
