Pins, needles and weird sensations
Hello everyone, I would like to hear how people would explain their pins and needles and odd sensations please.
I have now developed permanent pins and needles in the hands and feet with added stabs of more intense sensations which are random. I have left leg weakness but all my limbs just feel like dead weights, many thanks from Hayley x
@hayley_norton Hi I describe it like this... As I'm sure you're aware that MS causes damage to your nerves... So image a cat running across piano strings it plays all the wrong notes! So our very clever brain tries too make it sensible and gets it wrong from time to time. Pins and needles, hot when it's cold. Arms and legs that decide to go on strike at the drop off a hat..... All weird and wonderful stuff that you just learn how to put up with really, else you end up misserable. Keep as fit and healthy as you can. There are meds that help dampen these odd feelings. Your GP or MS nurse will be able to help you with them. Keep smiling 😀 It ain't all doom and gloom.....honest.
