Not a joke this time
Due to my condition and according to my letter only 36 days until I can leave the house. I will be celebrating my 50th birthday under this lockdown. Fortunately I have a very understanding wife.

My birthday was mid March at the beginning of our lock-downs and my daughter's iconic 18th birthday was the end of March. So many of my friend's birthday notifications have popped up on facebook over the last couple of months as a reminder that time is marching on while we sit still. So- I say we all celebrate our birthdays after this all clears...maybe a "half birthday" like kids do when their birthday falls in the summer and they can't celebrate with friends at school...I say we at least give ourselves that ;-) like many of our plans it can be delayed instead of cancelled entirely
