Mainly in UK

Hi there
I was curious if the site was mainly used for and by MSrs in the UK, I am Canadian, more than happy to chat with, people here but our health care system seems quite a bit different from UK’s, and information may be a bit skewed when interpreting information from a different country? Seems like a good site to use for this purpose, just don’t want to mess up giving or receiving information, Thank you.
Dan

@dan_davies MS doesn’t care where you are from and neither does the shift community. Click on the persons avatar and you are taken to their profile, where you can see where they are from.Yes the Healthcare can be different, but what helps in one country may also help in another.

Hi Dan, there are lots of fellow Canadian’s (like myself) on here as well as people from all over. It’s great to be able to talk to people around the world who can relate!

@dan_davis

You live in Canada? Cool… Do you know Steve???

Seriously though – Edmonton, Alberta is only about a five day drive from your place. So yes, although we have a country in common – our different provincial health plans mean we are talking apples & oranges…

Welcome – and feel free to ask anything. Someone from Ontario should be able to assist…

@dan_davies i’m a british expat living in Canada. I have a friend in the UK with MS and from our conversations regarding treatment and continuation of care I definitely get the impression the care I have received in Canada is superior!
