In need of treatment.

Hey guys, it’s been a while since I’ve come here and hope you are all doing well.

I have been suffering quite a lot of late due to the immobility of my legs and the constant pains below the waist.

Does anyone recommend any treatment to take or maybe some advice to treat spasticity and prolonged agony. I have heard that Gabapentin can be useful in moments like this.

Thank you.

Hey Simone,

Thank you for your message.

I use to take magnesium tablets when I was quite young, along with the Onega3 etc. I’ve taken many different types of vitamin tablets of which I can’t tell wether or not they made a difference.

I suppose that I should start to retake those tablets to see if I feel and notice a difference in my body and general mood.

I also take CBD oil which helps control my anxiety.

@jayjay10 , read the following, to ensure that you are addressing the right type of pain :-

Gabapentin may help with the pain, subject to the opening comment. It may also help the spasticity, although Baclofen, a muscle relaxant, is the usual medical response.

You could also try stretching, even Yoga, to ease the muscles.

@stumbler

Thank you for your message.

Thank you for the link you have provided. It greatly describes the sensations of which I am currently experiencing.

I am going to be using Google quite a lot here. 😂

Looks like my phone is going to be in use for quite a long time organising the right medication for my needs.

I’ve done so much stretching, it helps every so often. I will also look further into stretching to see if there are others which I could benefit from.
