@grandma I like it! And a large group could be called a Long Nap

A “wobble” sounds like walking after a few drinks… ๐Ÿ˜‰

That’s how most of us walk, frequently mistaken for being under the influence

MSdebators ™ job done โœ…

rivka

There was a toy, and an ad on TV, in the states years ago, โ€œwebbles wobble but they donโ€™t fall downโ€. MS is certainly webbles wobbling and yet……we do fall down! ๐Ÿ˜Š

@doubleo7hud, you are a disgrace to The North! My contributions: A mess of MSers. or a Tingle.

Better still: a Shake of Shifters!

Definitely prefer โ€œbunch of MSdebatorsโ€ @vixen and your right I am a disgrace ๐Ÿ˜‚ anyone else would struggle to make these legs look good tho ๐Ÿ˜Ž

MSdebators sounds a bit serious, a wobble sounds good (describes me perfectly) but I am wobbling to the idea of being a Weeble, oh and @rivka they were also in the UK

dominics

@rivka – The toys were called Weebl3s and the strqplin3 was, “Weebles wobble but they don’t fall down”

Regarding a collective noun – I’d vote for a Tumble.

There was a Tumble of MS sufferers…

Fat thumbs mean I am forever clipping the numberline, you get it though.

@dominics and @watsoncraig, thanks. I never know whatโ€™s specifically an American iconic reference and what my Aussie and Brit friends will get. Goes both ways, sometimes the UK expressions leave me blank. ๐Ÿค”

@watsoncraig it does sound a little serious ๐Ÿ˜‚ itโ€™s the big MSdebation debate, like brexit but slightly less boring and not as shouty.

I do like toilet grabbers ๐Ÿ˜‚ @smack you made me just wee a bit.

A wobble is the collective noun for Ostriches (check it out here https://www.pinterest.com/pin/526499012677106244/). I guess a connection with that beast and an MSer in denial of their condition is having their head i n the sand.

@nvardon I just looked you up on the bio bit. Found your post from 2009 about funny things. Mine wasn’t really funny though I can tell it now with humour! Am 62, have been driving for 45years, got stoped by police, on motorway, whilst towing my caravan, with 6 mth old Airedale for company in 2017, two people individually had seen me on motorway services, wobbling to the loo, rang 111 ๐ŸฅŠ๐Ÿ˜œ๐ŸฅŠ๐Ÿ‘น๐Ÿ‘นand reported a ‘ drunk’ woman on the motorway towing a caravan. 4 hours in police custody for swearing at a policeman which I admit I did eventually after being breath tested, which of course read 0, being accused of drinking Vodka cos it didn’t smell etc., had awful treatment from the police until they realised they had made a mistake. No apology, but I’m now wiser and would keep a letter from ms nurses in my glove box if mr government hadn’t taken my mobility car away last Feb as apparently I’m ‘insufficiently’ disabled to warrant my mobility car. I’ve had one for 19 years, don’t walk at all any more, gave a ramp to get in the house and a lift to get upstairs, work that one out!๐Ÿ‘น๐Ÿ˜œ๐Ÿ˜

That’s a disgrace- have you appealed and got a mandatory reconsideration?
I volunteer at citizens advice and there are so many possible options for you- I can’t guarantee that you will get your car back and have a slightly easier time ๐Ÿ˜ฑ๐Ÿคช๐Ÿค—

Instead of msers why not call us messers.

wolfey

Ok Peeps, how about a Stagger of MSers, messers or what ever we are called.

A few years ago I went to a police station in a nearby town to get an accident report for my daughter. I wobbled out and drove home. A cop followed me from the station to the town line. I guess the clerk must of called the cop to follow me. PIA

A lot of good suggestions….

I had Weebles as a kid. I like Wobble or Tumble/Stumble or Stagger or Mess

grandma

@vigi going through the appeal process now. Had a date in early December, but the disabled taxi didn’t turn up, got soaking wet waiting, in hospital with chest infection for a week, should have a new date in March, I will report back if any exciting happens, but even if it does will have been without transport for 18 months by then. What a joy it is to live in the uk with such a caring government๐Ÿ‘น๐ŸฅŠ๐Ÿ˜œ๐Ÿ˜
