@emman84
I wholeheartedly agree my friend! I hesitate to talk to other people about my MS. I get replies like, yeah, that sounds like age related symptoms everyone has. 😒. Frustrating. Its nice to have this online community who understands!!!

@emman84 I understand completely how frustrating it is when people just don’t understand how ms makes you feel, the fatigue and overwhelming feeling of weakness, I get asked if I’m stressed about anything which may be disturbing my sleep! I tend to feel now that I need to educate people about some symptoms, before I actually mention that I have ms 🙄 very frustrating

@emman84 , don’t mess around. Bring this matter up with your local MP as a matter of urgency.

Hello @emman84, definitely write to your MP and also approach your local MS Society branch. One of the downsides of our condition is that we have to learn to become our own advocates. Go back to housing, and ask them if you have a fall down the stairs, will they accept liability for it, given that you have been trying for two years to get a transfer? This is a Health and Safety issue, go on, be tough!
