Burning nose

When I breathe through my nose I’m getting a burning sensation, it’s been happening on and off for the past few days and now my body today feels like it’s been hit by a train. My body feels as if I’m sick but I don’t have a temperature and I still have energy, appetite etc and I’m still going around doing things as normal.

I never linked my MS to my bloody noses that kicked in about 10 years ago when I was consulting and they had nasty dry air in their office. I blame it on that. It really beat up my nasal lining and dried out my nose such that I lost my nasal septum. I don’t think that is a major health issue so haven’t done anything about it and no more bloody nose.

I know denial isn’t the best approach to health issues but right now I put it down as only an inconvenience as I am starting down the path of SPMS.

It will be interesting what responses you get and maybe my issues were more attributable to MS than I thought!

I’ve always had problems with breathing through my nose, when I lie down one nostril is always blocked and I can’t breathe through it. Never had this burning sensation tho

@lukezni , this might give you an insight into the burning nose issue :-

Given the other symptoms you now have, I would suspect flu. Have you had the annual jab?

Thank you @stumbler

I haven’t had my flu jab. It’s weird cos my body today feels normal again 🤷🏻‍♂️
