I got told to drink caffeine after I had mind to help with recovery, I don’t drink tea or coffee so had a small bottle of coke, I picked up quickly after

I think yes drink loads and you should feel better in 24 hours. Emotionally too I felt wobbly for 24 hours, as it’s quite scary.

@jo_buckland , it best to stay horizontal, but keep hydrated, for at least 6 hours or until you feel able to get on. Feeling ropey might last a day or two, but should then improve

If a headache should develop, then lie down again.

Hello @jo_buckland, at least that’s out of the way! Please don’t risk getting the nightmare headache that some have (including me) I felt fine after and, ignoring advice, went off to work the next day. But within 48 hours had the worst headache imaginable. So yep, loads of fluids and make yourself lay down for a day or two. Hopefully you will be fine, but your body still has to recalibrate the lost fluid so you need to rest and look after your body. Some people don’t have after effects, but it’s best not to risk feeling poorly x

Thank you for all your helpful comments, I’ve passed the 24 hour mark and I’ve never felt so dreadful 😩 can’t sit up or stand without feeling like my head will explode, I’ve had about 15 cups of coffee which means about 30 wee’s 😂😂 have to be on my feet ASAP as I care for my mum but just not feeling any better. My positive face is slipping 😬😬
