Benefit Interview

Hi Everyone! Hope your all well! I have recently applied for the ESA benefit as ive had 3 relapses lately, started new medication (Tysabri)and i just need some time to get better really! I have been asked to ttend an interview and i am a bit nervous about it! Has anyone else had an interview? Can you let me know what to expect? Thanks! xx

@cedelle, have a look around this website , it gets many recommendations:-
There is a negligible registration fee for indepth information, but most recommendations say that it’s well worth it.

Try to bring someone with you to be a witness ! I personally had a terrible time and a really stupid out come/denial of ESA! I’m glad my husband was with me to see how stupid the “doctor£ was ( and probably still is…) and he could help with the appeal. Hope you have a much better time and outcome 🙂

I Work for the DWP and the ESA appointments are where an adviser can discuss with you what you CAN do, as oppossed to the old Incapacity Benefit where you had to tell them what you CANNOTt do. The aim of the adviser is to offer you as much support as possible that you may or may not need to suport you, and get you back into work. Don’t worry about the interview use the time to give as much information to your adviser as you can to help them in their discussion with you. They are there to help you not hinder you.
