Rant!!!

I am sooooooooooo sick of people (usually the elderly if I'm honest)checking my disability parking badge. I know I don't look like there's anything wrong with me, but why do they think they have the right to ask what's wrong with me!! Happened twice today - anyone else had this happen??
@Purplepenguin

Ooooh, don't get me started on this one! I'm completely with you on this. When I first got my badge I didn't want to use it and the first time I did a woman came up and said did I know there were fines for using badges illegally?! And when I said it was mine she wanted to know what was wrong with me!! Blooming cheek! It has happened since, but less often since I started needing a stick. People are much more comfortable if they can see there's something wrong. People do seem to think they have the right to ask very personal questions if you are young and have a disability!!

@Alison

It happened to me at university - yes, it was some old lecturer bloke who watched me park in a disabled bay & get out of the car. Then I saw him walk over & check my sticker. No I can't walk the half mile from the main student car park, bite me!
