Hi @ ralee, my 1st words of wisdom is ‘learn your body’. Meaning if something doesn’t feel right don’t ignore it. In my younger days my body would start feel heavy, meaning take a rest, but I just carried on, working, raving, cycling. Then BOOM!! body shut down, in bed for a week.
2nd is learn to say ‘maybe’..you can’t do all the things you used to. Don’t feel guilty if you have to cancel plans at the last minute. So I reply “maybe” invites.
3rd it’s ok to feel shitty!😂
After 30 years, I still get down, I’m still get angry, I still feel ‘why me?’, I still feel guilty than I’m not bad I’ll as a fellow sufferer. everyone is different.
