@ciara1982 , this goes to show how notoriously difficult it is to diagnose MS, with similar symptoms presenting in other conditions.
A diagnosis of MS is a big thing in the life of a patient, so it has to be the right diagnosis. Once done, it can’t be undone. Hence your referral to an MS Specialist.
When you look at the brain in detail, you may see some scary things. But bear in mind, these could have been acquired over a number of years when you probably had no noticeable symptoms and were none the wiser.
Some lesions are just acquired by anybody as they age…….
