Planning a Meet up

What is a Meet up?

Here at we think of Meet ups as an event that is open for MSers to attend i.e. fashion show, catch up drinks, conference, educational events.


We created the Meet up area on the site as a place for MSers to meet other people with MS by creating events that are open for other MSers to attend.  


We believe in reducing isolation and bringing MSers together, whether online or face to face, and this tool is to help with the organisation of this.


When is a Meet up not a Meet up?

Nope, that’s not the start of a joke, just a few pointers on how not to use the Meet up tool:


-For organisations to promote their events

-To ask people for sponsorship

-For commercial opportunities

What happens after you create a Meet up?

Sarah, the Community Coordinator, will get be alerted to your request, check it ticks all the boxes then you’ll get notified if your Meet up is approved.


It will then appear live on the site, ready for you to share. We’ll help with promoting it too through our Facebook page and Twitter.

What next?

Don’t forget to send updates and photos after your meet up, we’d love to hear how it went! Plus schedule in your next gathering – we want there to be many Meet ups taking place across the globe, let’s help break down the isolation MSers face.
