@jennyaa , wow, that’s a niche question if ever I heard one!

My logic suggests that it should not cause a problem as it’s a plant-based product. There are a handful of stories like this :-

http://www.peachtreenorml.org/cannabis-testimonials-2/i-continue-to-use-the-benefits-of-the-cbd-oil-to-treat-both-my-pain-and-my-lack-of-appetite

that suggest that it’s OK.

I doubt if you would find a medical opinion on this subject, so it might have to be a question of trying it out for yourself…………

I take CBD oil on Gilenya, it doesn’t really interfere with other medications and is generally well tolerated from what I’ve heard/read.

Hi @jennyaa,
I hope that you are doing well.

I receive once a month Tysabri infusions, and I use CBD cream for joint pain. I don’t think the CBD interferes.

I’m in Illinois, and I have a medical marijuana card. Not sure if you have access to medical marijuana, but vaping or smoking a bit of THC helps with muscle spasms.

I was just looking into this question and found this article which says CBD inhibits the CYP450 enzyme system which metabolizes certain drugs, like immune modulators.

Here is an article that describes more about the CYP450 enzyme system and how it interacts with cannabidiol, including a list of drugs.

https://cbdoilreview.org/cbd-cannabidiol/cbd-p-450-enzyme/

The article says if you’re not taking a lot of different drugs and your liver is healthy, it may be fine. The best thing to do is talk to your doctor.
