Self catheterisation is it fiddly?

Is it possible to self catheter with my left hand as I have little control of my right hand I am naturally right handed?
If not what are the alternatives?
Many thanks in advance Sianny

@sianny , I can give you the male perspective on this.

I’m sure it is more than possible to use your left hand. It might take a little while to get the left hand “trained” up, but it’s what we do when we lose the capabilities of our predominant hand.

You just have to ensure that you perform the catherisation aseptically, to avoid the risk of UTIs. So, be ready to use a few catheters whilst the left hand gets calibrated.
