Hi everyone, shortly after being diagnosed in May I applied for and was selected to go on an international expedition to the Arctic in June of 2019. The expedition is a twelve day trip that takes place on the National Geographic Explorer ship and heads north into the Arctic Circle. This trip’s mission is to go to the Arctic and observe the changes that are happening so that we ensure that these extreme environmental conditions never happen in Antarctica. I plan to make this a long term journey by going back in 10 years and hopefully making the trip to Antarctica in 2041 when the moratorium on mining and resource extraction ends. I want to document not only the changes I see in the environment but my own personal battle with MS. I am reaching out to you to ask if you would be part of my journey and share my story? I started a fundraising page and have already raised enough money for the security deposit and secured my spot on the ship. My fundraising page is https://www.gofundme.com/arctic-2019 and you can find more information about the trip at http://www.2041.com/
