Hi, i use to take Coxpazone 7years ago for 6 months but started having terrible month uclers then tryed Avonex but after just one injection i felt awful my face started to swell up so decided to stop, i have lots of intolerance to certain food and medications so wasn’t suprised, since 2012 i haven’t taken any med’s, i follow a strict diet get plenty of execise, for me it was the right thing to do, i went to the neurospecialist after 6 years he was amazed i wasn’t any worse in my walking than 6 years before but annoyed i wouldn’t take any medication.

Hi. I’ve been on Avonex 6years ago but decided to stop as wanted to try for baby. After having my daughter in 2013 wanted to go back on meds but suddenly was told I’m not unwell enough to go on DMD…so I only take Gabapentin.

@jeslyn_mauriello , I got told that I could stop when I was arbitrarily told that i was now Secondary Progressive (SPMS).

No routine MRI scan, I’d never been offered them, just an arbitrary decision.

I was more than happy to discard my unused needles. 😉
