@tesh

A 3 year old? Cool… Becoming a parent is like playing a video game where you’ve skipped the tutorial & you’re just running about with no idea how anything works…

Welcome. How may we help you?

Hello @tesh and welcome. Glad that you’ve found Shift, Hopefully it will be a better friend than Dr Google, which can cause panic, overload and anxiety. If you do look at DMTs soon there are loads of posts on here for tips and advice, accessed through the search bar. Hope you have a good weekend, and keep posting! X

Hi @tesh & welcome 😊

Good luck with your treatment selection, it can be a tricky decision but I guess we’re just lucky that there are enough options these days that we get to make a choice. There’s lots of people here with experience of all the different meds available so hopefully we’ll be able to help you out with advice if you need it.

By the way @edmontonalberta your description of parenthood is great! Have you ever considered writing a parenting book? I’m sure new parents would have a much easier time if they knew that was how it was supposed to be 😄 made me smile anyway.

Thanks every1 for the warm welcome, not quite sure how to reply individualy smurf69 there quite a lot of options here in nz just really bad with the names, I have decided to go with gylina think that’s how you speel it,and see how that goes……yes dr google can be very overwelling, yea my lil boy can be very full on but such a good boy at the same time, a parenting book would be an amazing idea as I’m dreading the day I will have to tell him, but at this stage my ms is minimal just suffer from fatigue and overheating.

@lilbird

Friends of mine had their first baby. They were extremely nervous since they had heard horror stories from their friends. Their daughter Sarah was an Angel so they decided their friends were doing something wrong.

And then Samantha came along – she was the Devil reincarnated… Sometimes I could not help myself; would burst out laughing at her antics. That probably did not help – she would keep doing those things to get a laugh…

@edmontonalberta kids are just tiny people & just like people can be jerks or no apparent reason kids can too! 😉

Hi tesh. Someone on here pointed me to Dr Aaron Boster and his YouTube series. I really like his videos. He answered many of my questions about all the available treatments. Here is his latest one.

@tesh, welcome to the club. I too have a little boy but a little younger (16 months) and a little girl (4 months). Irish twins yay. My boy is a menace but my little girl just sleeps, eats and smiles. Such a good baby.
I am in Australia and also on Gilenya. It is working for me. No new lesions in the last MRI.
Where in NZ are you? My parents are in Queenstown. Such an amazing place. If I had to leave Australia for some reason, NZ South Island would be my first destination. Such good hiking, fishing, wine, food… it is like Disneyland for adults.
Good luck and let me know if you have any Gilenya/MS questions.
